Paddy Daly from Saint Vincent De Paul
On Wednesday 12th of October Paddy Daly visited our school to talk about the Young Saint Vincent De Paul .
Paddy spoke briefly about what Young Saint Vincent de Paul do , what it is like to be apart of the society , and how it benefits the community . He spoke about what his experiences were like as a volunteer in places like Haiti after natural disasters . He made leaving his home to travel half way around the world and help the struggling people seem so easy.
I found Paddy's talk more interesting than the conference in Knock . He spoke more about his personal experiences and how they linked up with his work and everyday life rather than what he does abd the purpose of The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul . His short speech really made me think about the little things Us as young adults can do to help people in need and those struggling .
